Hello Alex
Everything is OK and I can confirm that we have accepted your 3D2RI operation for OC-189. Congratulations. A note will appear in due course in IOTA News and the DX bulletins.

I hope Max enjoyed the trip. Not every 13 year old boy has an opportunity to go on such an adventure to Fiji!

Best wishes
Roger

from UT5UY by satellite phone:

"The Team has landed on OC-189. We have started as 3D2RI on 40 mtrs band. After a few hours the island was attacked by a strong tropical typhoon. All antennas, tents and gears were blowed away by the rain and wind. Storm is gone at this moment. All team members are in good health and brave humour. Now we are trying to restore our setup.
We suppose to resume on-air operation on early morning 4-th of May (EU time)."

Thanks to our big Fijian friend Mr. Bob Goddess for his help to rent a boat "Lucky Strike" which will deliver us to Ringgold Isles.
On a way to Ringgold and back we plan to active /MM.
Also this boat is equipped with the state-of-the-art fishing equipment and we figure on a good trophies.
